The Golden Light

This is one of the more interesting story series that I have done. It started as a one line note on the back of a page. The idea though was just to compelling to abandoned. Earth, in 2019, a nearly dead world, destroyed by a nasty plague. Inside of this setting, magic is coming back, not slowly, or elegantly, but in a flood of power.

The changes have just started, the first signs of which is the fact of the very sudden, and impassable, appearance of a second moon, almost twice as large as the first. The second sign is the Golden Light, which, when it touches a person, transforms them in strange ways.

• The Beginning
  The title says it all, this is the story that began the universe, and one of the better reference stories. It's where we meet the first two main characters, Kenneth, and Ben.

• Out Past the Breakers
  Now the other two main characters, Mark and Cleo, who meet by accident, and by pure luck manage to contact a organized outlet of civilization, to which they start off for.

• Monsters and Death
  Cleo and Mark, half way to there destination, are accosted by a cult, who wish to kill Cleo from how the light has changed her.
