Well, here we are, a brand new story for your reading pleasure, but not just the story, there's a brand new piece of art as well. It's pretty much 100% fan service, so I hope you like it.

Still, even with that there is other things that need to be said. This is the last story in the series. As of this posting "A Fox in the Works" is officially over. There's a lot that could be said at this point, but I'm not really sure I can say it. It's been fun to write the series, even as it went in all sort of directions. I've been writing it for twelve years now and I think the time has come to said it's done.

I'll probably still write the occasional story in this world, there are still a few loose ends to wrap up, but that's for later. For now it's the end. I hope you enjoyed read the series as much as I did writing it. Thanks for the Memories.

[Some of the cast]

Welcome to my pride and joy! Come in please, sit down, pull up a chair, look though the library and make yourself at home. This is the official web sight of the longest set of storyies I've ever done. A Fox in the Works has been my own personal creative journey to explore and discover my own writings.

Starting, quite by accident, on December 25th, 1995, it has grown into a series spanning over a hundred stories, and above four hundred thousand words! When I started this project, I never thought it would be this long, or be this entertaining.

The series is now in it's fourth year of being written, and is now more then half done. The last story will be posted on December 25th, 2000. It will be the official end of the series, but it will not end the stories. I have plans to work on Net-Novels of the series for years to come. So much to do, so much to look forward to, I'm quite dizzy with anticipation (or is it the wind?).

If you're just coming into the series, the story Run Around, which is to be found halfway though the third year, is a perfect place to start.

Once you've managed to catch up with the story, or even before, you can join the A Fox in the Works Fan Club. Not only is the group for annoucments of new stories, you can also talk about the series with other fan.

You can also find the series posted to the spokane.generalnews groups, which is local to my town, so you can only get it if you're in Spokane. The fur.stories.misc news group is, available on most fine public furry news servers near you (I use news.fysh.org myself, but there are many others). It's also posted to the Furry- Lit Mailing List, a mailing list dedicated to furry stories much like these.

[Oriana]

The picture at the top of the page is a link to a full size one that shows all of my assorted forms through out the series. It is a beautiful picture done by Kaijima Stormrider who's page I strongly suggest you go pop in and take a look at.

To the right you will find a link taking you to the picture Oriana was based on. It landed in my lap two days before I wrote the story she first appeared in. It cemented the idea for her character firmly in my mind, and I have never regretted it. The picture itself is by Doug Winger, who happily allowed me to put it up on my site. Thanks Doug!

These aren't the only pictures related to the series, but I just don't have enough room to put them all on my home page! You can find most of them on the Art page if you want to see more.

You can find the stories in two locations, the first location is here, on my web site itself. You can also find them on my mirror at http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Authors/Fox-Cutter/AFiW/. The mirror takes a few hours longer then the web site does to update, so the links may not work right away.
